This is the first of my third year projects. This is a very detailed piece with a lot of elements but was successful in its outcome and its likeness to the original design. I hand patched dyed the fabric to give the pale blue sheen which was then used throughout the entire costume, only using chiffon. The bodice was hand pleated and then had the top panel applied onto which has hand embroidery and paint work. The wings were made using a cane structure which slotted into a harness worn under the dress.
